My siblings and I have been watching Jumong from a DVD lent to us a by a friend. Needless to say, we really enjoy it. I really enjoy and learn from it. Though I love the whole series, I have some favorite episodes and those are 16-23.
It's a mix of adventure, history, political & war tactics, loyalty, friendship and romance. One thing I liked about Jumong is that unlike other dramas, the romance between the characters does not overshadow the rest of the story. Rather, it uses the romance between characters to compliment other parts. Today we ended in the part where Jumong gave the jade ring to So-Seo-No. Jumong only spoke a line and the rest of the scene was very well acted. The response in Soseono's eyes said words better left unspoken but felt. At that point, me and my sister were just going nuts! Haha.
I highly recommend this series to anybody who loves history. The series alone is educational enough.
