Whenever lightning splits the sky and roars of thunder follow, I tremble in fear as if I’ll be struck next by light from heaven. It sends me into a quick scary moment yet curiously, the sound of thunder and rain also sends pleasure to my ears and heart. It’s somehow a right kind of fear towards the majestic One who said,
“Can you raise your voice to the clouds
and cover yourself with a flood of water?
Do you send the lightning bolts on their way?
Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’?”
