Remembering

For years I really haven't watched A Walk to Remember. I just see parts of it then. I watched this part here and this part there. I know that Jamie died in the end and all that. I know the plot but I never really got to watch it with full attention until today.

I was copying files to dvds and to pass time while waiting for the burning process I decided to watch A Walk to Remember. I decided too that I would not cry or even get teary eyed about it since I already know the story. But I can be very unpredictable. My eyes and my heart failed me. At first I was just sniffing a bit here and there but in the scene of... "to cherish all the days of my life..." My eyes gave away. I just have to let out my reaction or else I would choke to death. And to death my tears with me.

I will never ever forget the last scene of this movie. The look of remembering in Landon Carter's eyes was one that says he will never ever forget Jamie and would cherish her memory in his heart forever.
